The holiday season is such a busy time of year. Parties and gatherings, work potlucks and school concerts, and opportunities to spread holiday cheer to the many people who touch our lives in some way. I have again teamed up with my friends at Oriental Trading to show you how to quickly and easy dress up a bottle of wine, a gift bag or a package for holiday giving. Cute and inexpensive jingle bell necklaces and a free printable tag make adding a festive touch to any gift a breeze. Are you ready learn how to put together your own jingle bell bottle wrap? Here we go:

To create a jingle bell bottle wrap, start by taking two jingle bell necklaces and opening up the clasps. This will give you four red cords to work with. Hold the necklaces up and pull one up a little lower than the other to offset the jingle bells. Gently tie the cords around the neck of your wine bottle at the length you desire keeping the bells slightly offset. Secure the excess cords to the back of the bottle using a piece of transparent tape.
Print the free printable tags out on a piece of white cardstock and cut one out using your scissors. Use a hole punch to make a hole in one corner of the tag. Tie the tag over the top of the necklace cords on the neck of the wine bottle using a piece of festive ribbon or baker’s twine. Gently arrange the bells to hang slightly over the tag. And just like that, you are done! These dressed-up bottles of wine will make perfect hostess gifts or neighbor gifts!
Not giving wine or alcohol as gifts this year? Use the same technique to decorate a bottle of sparkling juice or seltzer water. You can also place your bottle of wine, juice or spirits in a gift bag made for bottles and tie the jingle bell necklaces and printable tag right to the handles of the bag.
Adding the jingle bell necklaces and printable tag as a tie-on to a wrapped package is a fun option too. I achieved this look by first tying my wire edged ribbon around the gift box. Before tying the bow, I tied two jingle bell necklaces around the ribbon adjusting the length of the cords to offset the bells and fit on the top of my package. Next I tied a large bow right over the place where I had tied the jingle bell necklaces to the ribbon. I taped the excess cord from the necklaces under the ribbon down the side of the package securing them out of sight with a little tape. Add the printable tag as a finishing touch. Cute, right?
Making a jingle bell bottle wrap or package tie-on is such an easy project but is so very festive! The jingle bell necklaces from Oriental Trading were absolutely perfect for this project.
